Dr. Appleton is a licensed naturopathic physician with an extensive background in natural medicine and education. He is a graduate of Reed College and of the National College of Natural Medicine. His roots run deep within the history of Integrative Therapeutics - during the 1990's, Dr. Appleton worked with Corey Resnick, ND, at Tyler Encapsulations which is one of the rich brands within Integrative Therapeutics line. Dr. Appleton is the author of several books and hundreds of articles on natural medicine. He was the Nutrition department chair and faculty at the National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, OR, and has also been on faculty at Bastyr University. He has lectured extensively around the world, and is currently the Director of Professional Education at Integrative Therapeutics. Dr. Appleton participates in the development of new products, develops professional education resources and presents the latest research to the medical community providing an expert review of the best that science and nature have to offer.
